I don’t know if you are in the ratings or no-ratings camp, but for me the ratings were the whole point<\/strong>. My goal is\u00a0to make a game that ranks higher than games I’ve created before. With no ratings, I have almost zero motivation to take part in this. If a handful of people cheated, that only affects the rankings so slightly it makes very little difference (so your\u00a0game is #332 instead of #315).<\/p>\n

It pains me that LD has gathered such momentum, only to risk\u00a0becoming something I’m no longer interested in. On the other hand I’m happy that now I’ll have 48 hours to spend on something else!<\/p>\n
