Spent some time last night with the girlfriend and some buddies. I wouldn’t count the time entirely wasted, since I tossed my concept around a bit with them and it seems to be approachable enough. Got myself a couple of cases of mountain dew and I’m ready to fire on all cylinders. Getting the engine set up will be task number one; I’m working on a game myself so this is a good opportunity to write a simple version from scratch as a bit of complexity stress-test. To code!
