The idea was that you essentially have to work out the evolution backwards. So you&#8217;re given a modern creature, and you&#8217;re shown the earth&#8217;s &#8220;original creatures&#8221;, and you have to work out how the original creatures combined over time to form that modern creature. It&#8217;d be played with these &#8220;cards&#8221; that represent each creature.<\/p>\n <p>Anyway, my new idea is more of an homage to an old Starcraft custom map called &#8220;Evolves Madness&#8221;. Basically it&#8217;s gonna be an super-simplified RTS game that takes place on a small map with 3 players, where each player&#8217;s base is constantly spawning creatures, and once in a while you send them to attack other players&#8230; As you rack up kills, you can upgrade your creatures, research special abilities, and do other fun stuff(?). Your goal is to destroy the both of the other bases. I don&#8217;t know how far I&#8217;m gonna get, but it&#8217;s gonna be a good stress test for my Futile engine at the very least.<\/p>\n <p>&nbsp;<\/p>","time":"August 25th, 2012 6:28 am","title":"Finally have my idea"}
