So my teammate still isn’t home. :/

I’m taking part in the Jam with my roommate (we were partners last LD we entered as well), but he still isn’t home from a baseball game he went to with his work.

So I’ve spent the time setting my computer up, setting up the timelapsing, the live streaming (http://www.livestream.com/screamrawr) and so forth.

I have mixed feelings about the theme being Evolution. I knew I was going to have problems with it if it were chosen.

It were chosen.

I guess just getting out of the Pokemon mentality is going to be tough for a lot of people. I also feel like a lot of people are going to misuse the term “Evolution”. But, I am also expecting some of LD’s finest games to come from this since the theme has been long time coming.

Needless to say, I’ve had an hour to myself to start rolling up some ideas to pitch to my teammate when he finally gets home. I’ve got two right now, and one of them is pretty well thought out. I’ve written probably about a page and a half for my teammate, (I guess I could just call him by his name, Jif) to read.
