I mean, come on. I still don’t believe these in posts are necessary at all. Neither do I think people read most of them anyways.

They are not necessary. They are optional unless you have some personal base code that you want to use during the compo. But it’s nice to see all the people getting ready to participate.

You’re “in” when you submit a game. It’s just a tradition to make a blog post beforehand.
