Game here<\/a><\/p>\n

This was my first Ludum Dare and it was awesome! Reading The Game Jam Survival Guide was a huge help and I recommend picking up a copy. This book unlocked the arcane art of game jamming once thought lost with the sinking of \u00a0the USS Gametantic, back during the dark age of 8-bit famine.<\/p>\n

What I learned to do better:<\/span><\/p>\n

Spend more time making sounds, music, and textures.<\/p>\n

Stay away from Reddit.<\/p>\n

Understand shaders and particle systems better.<\/p>\n

What I did right:<\/span><\/p>\n

I kept my idea simple, stayed hydrated, and spent some time outdoors.<\/p>\n

Got functionality working first then proceed to lipstick my piggy.<\/p>\n

Also I made sure to maintain my\u00a0pregnant wife’s happiness.<\/p>\n

In the end it was a great success and I feel good about myself, just in time to realize I have to go back to work in the morning!<\/p>\n
