You can pump electrons to your surface (becoming negatively charged), or away from your surface (becoming positively charged). Levels contain positive and negative nodes, and as we all know, opposite charges attract, but like charges repel.</p>\n <p>I have a few ideas for levels:</p>\n <p><a href=\"http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2012/04/21/genesis/levels-note/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-121371\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-121371\" src=\"http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/levels-note-300x158.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"158\" /></a></p>\n <p>I usually try to make games that don&#8217;t require level design (see <a href=\"http://roguelikedeveloper.blogspot.com.au/2008/01/death-of-level-designer-procedural.html\">here</a> and <a href=\"https://plus.google.com/105363132599081141035/posts/JkXqKhbvqhA\">here</a> for reasons why), so this is a little out of my field. Next will come a level editor, and some non-placeholder graphics. I&#8217;m yet to decide on a particular visual style: I&#8217;d like to nod to the tiny physical nature which inspired the game, so perhaps some STEM images for inspiration?</p>\n <p><img class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http://www.phys.canterbury.ac.nz/research/nano/images/Z%20TraceUp%20Wed%20Jan%2021%2012_36_43%202009%201-15%20%20STM_Spectroscopy%20STM_bcrf_InvFFT.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"283\" height=\"283\" /></p>", "time": "April 21st, 2012 12:34 am", "title": "Genesis"}
