This is my second Ludum Dare I will participating in, and I think I will be ready this time. Last time I did this, I was ill-prepared, didn’t know what I was doing, and made a pretty crappy game with no time to make many sounds, or do a proper ending like I wanted to. It was a simple game, too, but I didn’t realize how time consuming it was. My note to all new-comers: Make a game where you can get the best time spent per gameplay/fun level ratio. Really. It’s important that you make your game fun.

Anyway… Wanted to do this one in Java and Eclipse, but I think I still have a ways to go (maybe next LD) before I can make anything decent in Java. So, you want to know what I’ll be using, right?

Language: GML

IDE: GameMaker 8 Pro

Sound: Audacity

Graphics: GIMP

Just remember, it’s important to have fun.
