Man.<\/p>\n

This was my first Ludum Dare, and I’d been looking forward to it for a long time. I was not at all disappointed. I surprised myself by making not just one<\/a> but two<\/a> <\/strong>games in less than 12 hours total, and this month has been crazy productive for me outside of this weekend as well.<\/p>\n

Pardon my self-promotion, but this month I also finished another game<\/a> and two totally playable prototypes (which I won’t link to, as\u2013 though they’re feature-complete as far as I originally conceived they would be\u2013 I’m not sure they’re done<\/em>). And it’s not even three weeks in!<\/p>\n

I’m incredibly satisfied, and I also feel great knowing that so much creativity just explodes all over the internet in a Ludum Dare weekend. Even only having played a few games and interacting with a few developers, it’s just such an immensely positive force. I won’t say I wish Ludum Dare was every weekend (I think that’d make it less exciting), but I’m eagerly looking forward to the next one.<\/p>\n

Also, incalculable thanks are in order to the people behind FlashPunk and SFXR, who make making things a lot easier than they could be.<\/p>\n
