I&#8217;ve wasted a bunch of time, and now I&#8217;m likely not going to finish. <img src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/frownie.png\" alt=\":(\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n <p>Well, failure was always an option.<\/p>\n <h2>I&#8217;m not going to give up!<\/h2>\n <p>I&#8217;m in until the end.<\/p>\n <p>I have some new goals for my game. I&#8217;m going to try my hardest to get these done.<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Player movement: Walk, run, and jump<\/li>\n <li>Level terrain: Simple tileset and three rooms<\/li>\n <li>Ending: Maybe an ending scene, maybe just &#8220;You win!&#8221;<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>That&#8217;s about it, really.<\/p>\n <p>I&#8217;m really wishing that I hadn&#8217;t wasted all the time that I did. <img src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/frownie.png\" alt=\":(\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n <p>I won&#8217;t give up, though.<\/p>\n <p>More after the break! <img src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/simple-smile.png\" alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n <p><span id=\"more-95937\"><\/span>The LD version of Desolate wasn&#8217;t intended to be the finished game, anway. I&#8217;m going to keep working after LD to finish it.<\/p>\n <p>Also, I&#8217;m dropping the &#8220;platform hell&#8221; difficulty level.
