Thought I’d give it a shot this year after having watched Notch (developer of Minecraft) competing in Ludum-Dare for the past 2.792 years (thanks wolfram-alpha!). I usually develop my stuff in Java, Python, C#, (some) C, PHP, Javascript and Go. I’m intending to write this in Java.<\/p>\n

Monitors are 2x Samsung B2430 (23″ @ 1920×1080) + 1x Samsung 2333 (23″ @ 1920×1080) + 1x Samsung 931BW (19″ @ 1440×900).<\/p>\n

Got a fresh windows install (since yesterday since last reinstall was on Christmas day last year, and it has been bugging out for months..)<\/p>\n

Will be developing the project in Eclipse, language will be Java (as mentioned above).

\n Was considering using my in-development networking library (will be releasing as open-source, in all the listed languages above in a few weeks) but after considering it, it would probably be useless implementing multi-player.

The main issue I’ve got at present is no decent time-lapse software. I’ve tried ChronoLapse but it seems to have been designed for dual-monitor at most, I’m able to get it to display right 3 monitors using the “subsection” settings but the most I can get of left monitor is simply black (using negative coordinates).<\/p>\n

Just to let you know I’m “ylt” in IRC, and I voted against kittens despite having “ylt!ylt@nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.nyan.d3s.co” as my host-mask! \":)\"<\/p>\n
