{"author_name":"kfischer_okarin","cat":"LD #35","comments":[],"epoch":1461028680,"likes":3,"metadata":{"p_key":"6310","p_author":"kfischer_okarin","p_authorkey":"85426","p_urlkey":"41749","p_title":"Did not make it, but learnt a lot","p_cat":"LD #35","p_event":"LD35","p_time":"1461028680","p_likes":"3","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"85426","us_name":"kfischer_okarin","us_username":"dertraveler","event_start":"1460678400","event_key":"33","event_name":"LD35"},"text":"<p>Hey everybody :),<\/p>\n <p>my first Ludum Dare did not result in a finished game unfortunately.<br \/>\n But I really used those three days and learnt a lot about Blender (even though I first didn&#8217;t intend to &#8211; effectively started from zero) &#8211; and also more about Unity&#8230;.<\/p>\n <p>This is the prototype I ended up with:<br \/>\n <img src=\"http:\/\/i.giphy.com\/xT1XGV0EqSY4QeDQ08.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n <p>The idea was to infiltrate an office by being able to transform in all kinds of objects\/persons around you&#8230;<br \/>\n You are able to remember up to three Shapes to shift into and can go through them by pushing (who would have expected it&#8230;) Shift&#8230;<\/p>\n <p>I realize that I should have started with the game mechanics much earlier (using prototype graphics) so I would make it to the actual gameplay&#8230; but I was just too much into learning Blender \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n <p>Well next time, I&#8217;ll be better prepared (and actually make some 2D game as I originally planned)..<\/p>\n <p>Already looking forward to playing all the great games I&#8217;ve already seen on the newsfeed \ud83d\ude00<\/p>","time":"April 18th, 2016 8:18 pm","title":"Did not make it, but learnt a lot"}
