There. It’s done. I finished the game. The first time that I ran out of time for the Compo version and had to go Jam. Still, I regret nothing! I am very happy with the end product, even if I did want to do so much more.<\/p>\n

So much more.<\/p>\n

But isn’t that the nature of Ludum Dare? Making decisions under time pressure and deciding what’s worth it and what’s not? In the end, I got a game that can be played meaningfully from start to finish. I’ll polish it later, perhaps. For now, I am enjoying the fuzzy warm feeling that I completed a game and learned a lot about Twine in general and CSS in specific. I’ll do a post-mortem later but for now I’ll crack open a beer and enjoy myself.<\/p>\n
