I’m somewhat new to Ludum dare and full gamemaking.

I have made maps/mods within unreal and Hammer before but.

Would using Stencyl be a viable means of entering this contest? Granted i do all the scripting myself.

I think stencyl is great to use! To me the point of the compo is about learning. If you are learning something who cares how you do it.

@wallacoloo I could imagine that if those tools were banned (Unity3d,stencyl,game maker,MMF) there would be a 3rd competition for us who arent as astute in game programming and development.
