I’ve been wondering when would be the best time to register for the competition, but now that voting has begun I suppose now is as good a time as any.

I decided to use Java and lwjgl (and probably Slick too) to increase accessibility.  If that doesn’t work out I could fall back to C++ and SDL for next time.

I look forward to actually finishing something for a change.
