So I managed to complete my entry, and although it wasn’t as long and detailed as I’d have liked I’m still super happy with the end result! It’s my first attempt at a “platformer” and the physics work perfectly for the most part so I’m really pleased with that.<\/p>\n

It was also an experience on producing my own semi-detailed pixel animations which I feel I’m getting a better grasp of now, especially during the animation where the cat kills you.<\/p>\n

Finally sound effects; I’ve never made my own before and have always relied on generated or open source sound effects, and bashing the keys to my flat against my radiator for that perfect ‘dink’ sound may well have been the highlight of my 48 hours!<\/p>\n
