Happy with my start.

So, I’m pretty happy with how things have worked out so far.

Before this LD48 started, I spent the last month or so building up some basecode to deal with tilemaps, sprite animations and created corresponding editors.  As a consequence of this, I immediatly started working on my assets.

Here’s a couple of screenshots of my editors, I really feel these preparations are paying off :)

dude, seriously, you need to work on drawing stuff without all those boxes. Do you see white boxes around everything in mario ? zelda ? cmon, ditch the boxes, it ain’t buying you any style points.

I think that’s just his editor, not the game engine. Tile boundaries kinda useful when editing…

He’s only got 48 hours, you need to focus on art, not boxes. I’m just saying.

It’s the editor, the game itself doesn’t have the grid showing.
