C and SDL
I’m a strange maths student. My hobby is writing odd computer games.
This is my first Ludum Dare.
I’m not so worried about winning: if I can write an awesome game in 48 hours and show it to my friends it shall be cool.
I’m going to write in C, with SDL, targeting Linux and Windows. I’m going to try to keep it simple, but some special effects can be fun

If you make a game, you’re already a winner! =)

Good luck with C! I do admire its simplicity sometimes, but I would find it hard to choose it over C++, for example.

C++ is grand! But I simply never learned it properly, and at this late hour I reckon it is best to stick to what I know. C is deliciously simple though.

I’m quite happy with good ol’ C. Just make sure you know your collections and stuff, let alone how to use pointers (linked lists come to mind here), otherwise you’d hardly be using it.

My C is okay, don’t worry! It’s true, pointers are a basic part of C and C++, without them you’d be scuppered. It’s best not to have this though: ****. On the plus, it makes it look like someone has censored your code, which I find funny because I’m some sort of simpleton.
