Well. Here I am telling the community that I’m going to participate in LD20. I’m nervous as ever. Well, onwards to the information. I’m probably going to use the following tools:<\/p>\n

PDCurses – awesome text-ness for stuffs<\/p>\n

GIMP – graphics editing<\/p>\n

as3sfxr – 8bit sound generation<\/p>\n

Code::Blocks – c\/c++ IDE<\/p>\n

Buckets of procrastination – self-explanitory<\/p>\n

Anyway, this is going to be my first LD. Don’t expect anything visually fancy from me because you’re not going to get it. I’ll probably be too busy ripping my hair out and exploding buses or something to care about visuals. I’m also challenging myself (great idea for my first LD, huh?) to make this thing in C or C++ which is rather time consuming compared to other options such as Python or Ruby.<\/p>\n
