Decisions…
In the last post, I’ve said that I was probrably coming to the LD#19. Since I won’t have enough time this weekend, I won’t be able to finish my project in 48h or even on 72h for the Jam, but I will work under the rules of Ludum Dare.
My plan is to work with JavaScript manipulating the HTML5 canvas element (I’ll work with Chrome mainly, because it has the best performance on the stable browsers so far). I’ll try to keep my work as clean as possible (one of the reasons that 72h won’t be enough) and work as “functional” as I can.
Everything will be created with Notepad++ and stored on GitHub (my LD19 Repository). I will try to work from sketch, but if necessary, I’ll use some JS lib to deal with the canvas.
I’ll try to make the art assets with Paint.NET, but I don’t have any design skills, so I don’t expect beautiful stuff incoming. The sounds will be created with sfxr.
