Let’s go for the second time!
After I successfully completed a game last summer in LD18, I’ll try again next week. I’ll go with Java again, as I’ve failed to learn some Flixel as I initially wanted… Here is a list of things I’ll use:
- JDK 1.6, no external libraries or codebase at all
- Eclipse as code editor, debugger, etc.
- SFXR, just like everyone, for sound
- Musagi, maybe, if I feel brave enough to try music.
- Chronolapse for a timelapse
- MSPaint and Paint .NET for graphics
- Probably Super Meat Boy and/or Touhou. Not the best games as anti-stress, but whatever…
I think I didn’t forget anything. As I said, like last time, I won’t be using any libraries at all, everything done from scratch. I might copy-paste some code from my last entry at some point, more specifically the Sound class. If someone’s interested, the link from the beggining has a link to the source, so you can search in it.
I will update on the game here and on my personal blog (in Spanish, sorry!). I will also upload a full timelapse to YouTube, like last time, probably with some music in it.

Touhou on Lunatic for stress control FTW!
