about 24 hours MAX on it 😀

I usually spend 36 of the 48 hours working. I work while I eat. I try to sleep 5 hours per night. That leaves 2 other hours for walking around or breaks or maybe tasting what I’m eating. I then spend the next few days/week recovering from the horrific marathon pace. I love it.

Last time for me it went really well, so I only spent about 7-8 hours.

4 hours first time.

6 hours the next.

8 hours the last time.

maybe 10 hours I will get.

(assuming the pattern continues…)

Usually I spend about 25-30 hours or so but this time I’m going to try and push myself to the point of insanity.

yeah with Ludum Dare.. Insanity–It’s the only way to fly!

depends, first time I entered maybe 30 hours, last time I was working right up till the deadline and produced utter crap

Did a solid 36 hours last time, more because I was seriously ambitous about game size rather than I’d planned to spend that long. Not sure it’s particularly advisable behaviour, though I guess I did do pretty well.

Hum… First time, I think about 44 hours or so…

Now I usually work 24, and I tend to quit after 8 or so if the game is just not working from a fun point-of-view…

For me: 3hrs Fri, 7hrs Sat, 5hrs Sun, total 15 hours.

Sleep is good. As is going outside and getting some fresh air.

25-30, I’ve done 35 once I think but that’s really the limit. I’ve also done playable little games in 7 hours total twice.

Oh man, I do 6-8 usually, sometimes I go this much even for a month challenge.

There are so many people on LD now, you’re not going to hit a topic that nobody is interested in replying to. I’ve been very conservative in past LDs. I always take a full sleep and even go out of the house for hours at a time. I probably start coding about 12-14 hours in. I’d estimate I use around 17 hours of programming.
