A &#8220;.&#8221; is a &#8220;white&#8221; pixel, a &#8220;#&#8221; is a &#8220;black&#8221; pixel, and anything else is not part of the image. By &#8220;white&#8221; I mean the background color, and by &#8220;black&#8221; I mean the color of an activated pixel.<\/p>\n <p>Things are coming along fairly nicely, and I&#8217;m happy with my progress.
