There’s pirates in the sky, pirates under my base, and no way to kill them. Argh!

Okay, yeah. I played this a little more thoroughly, and the pirates pretty much ruined the entire game for me. I was left unable to do anything, with just a few blocks and about 50 pirates doing a silly dance underneath my feet.
