Here is a quick explanation on how to use Google Sites to host your Ludum Dare Project.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to http:\/\/sites.google.com\/<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Sign in with your Google ID.\u00a0 (If you don’t have one, you will have to create one.)<\/li>\n
  3. Click on ‘Create Site’<\/li>\n
  4. You can pick a template at this stage if you like.\u00a0 Or you can select Blank Template.<\/li>\n
  5. Make sure that you have selected that the whole world can see the site.<\/li>\n <\/ol>\n

    You will get a nice site.\u00a0 The project template one is kind of nice, if a bit noisy.<\/p>\n

    In order to upload files, log into your site.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. In the upper right hand corner you will see ‘More actions’\u00a0 Click this, then click ‘Manage site’<\/li>\n
    2. On the right hand side, select ‘Attachments’
      \n You might see some files here if you didn’t select a blank template.<\/em><\/li>\n
    3. Click ‘Upload’ at the top or bottom.<\/li>\n
    4. Find your file on your computer, and click ‘Upload’\u00a0 (Uploading to the top level is fine)<\/li>\n <\/ol>\n

      After the file is uploaded, you can construct a URL to it like so:<\/p>\n

      http:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/<your site name>\/<your file name><\/p>\n

      Here is an example:<\/p>\n
