Now that the jam is about to end, and we’ve played quite a bit of games, we wanted to point out some of our favorite games we played during Ludum Dare 37… and also our game. \u00a0Play these things!<\/p>\n

Walkie Talkie<\/a> – Ingenious is the only word to describe this game. \u00a0A working chat application that allows you to type in messages, but then each message gets transformed into a playable platformer level. \u00a0I mean, common… what!? \u00a0That’s crazy dope.<\/p>\n

Face Man<\/a> –\u00a0Here at ShuddaHaddaLottaFun, we like games with style, and Face Man has that, in faces… and maybe butts… I dunno. \u00a0A jump and gun shooter where your dead enemies faces become your new weapons. \u00a0This is a game to come back to and play again and again.<\/p>\n

Cancelled Refuge<\/a> –\u00a0One of us might have had a hissy-fit in this games comments section, but it was deserved… this game is TOO good. \u00a0This game is practically ready to be flashed to a cartridge, sent back in time, and put on the shelf at your local Hollywood Video to rent and play on your Nintendo. \u00a0It’s got a sound test for crying out load. \u00a0Super fun to play, and look forward to seeing more of it in the future hopefully.<\/p>\n

Karate Basketball <\/a>– Let’s be honest, this game could have been awful and we still would have found it funny. \u00a0It’s a good joke. \u00a0NBA Jam, but starring Draymond Green kicking people. \u00a0But this game is also really good and fun to play. \u00a0I mean, it feels like NBA Jam, but with a kick button. \u00a0It’s great.<\/p>\n

ClapClap<\/a> –\u00a0Also known as “Real Life: The Simulation”, ClapClap is an awesomely awkward adventure in social clap expectations. \u00a0You are at a concert, ready to bring forth applause from your sweaty hands, but need to clap at the right time when the song ends… and there are a lot of false endings. \u00a0Clap too early, and you get some real mean-mugging from the folks around you.<\/p>\n

Shadow Fencer Theatre<\/a> – A 1-2 player fencing game set in the world of shadow puppets. \u00a0We are super happy with how our game turned out this jam, and would love for you to check it out! It’s super silly fun when you have some friends to play with. Play it and tell us what you think!<\/p>\n
