{"assets":[],"author_link":"author\/evilseanbot\/","author_name":"evilseanbot","cat":"LD #22","categories":["LD #22"],"comments":[],"epoch":1325083980,"event":"LD22","likes":4,"metadata":{"p_key":"77569","p_author":"evilseanbot","p_authorkey":"0","p_urlkey":"286420","p_title":"I want to review some games focused on atompshere and narrative","p_cat":"LD #22","p_event":"LD22","p_time":"1325083980","p_likes":"4","p_comments":"0","p_status":"WAYBACK","us_key":null,"us_name":null,"us_username":null,"event_start":"1323993600","event_key":"8","event_name":"LD22"},"source_url":"2011\/12\/28\/i-want-to-review-some-games-focused-on-atompshere-and-narrative\/","text":"<p>I\u2019m interesting in rating some games (I\u2019m thinking 30ish?) that are focused on creating an interesting atmosphere or narrative, and than writing about my observations from playing them.<\/p>\n<p>I tend not to be into \u201cinteractive fiction\u201d for the following reasons.<\/p>\n<p>- Non-intuitive control schemes (I\u2019m looking at you, text-parser.)<\/p>\n<p>- Boring opening situations (I\u2019m looking at you, I\u2019m-somewhere-but-I-Don\u2019t-know-Why)<\/p>\n<p>- Find-the-Authors-Solution-Through-Trial-and-Error (I hate you, every puzzle revolving around kitchenware)<\/p>\n<p>However, if your \u201cinteractive fiction\u201d doesn\u2019t feature any of those qualities strongly, than we\u2019ll talk <img alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_smile.gif\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>If you comment that you want your game to be rated, I\u2019d probably be somewhat critical about it.
