Pixeling art and sprites actually was a lot of fun, so I decided to use a more professional pipeline this time to have more time for art and content.<\/p>\n<p>My tools:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/unity3d.com\/\">Unity3D<\/a> as the basic engine<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wyrmtale.com\/products\/unity3d-components\/orthello\">Orthello 2D Framework<\/a> \u2013 this is a plugin for Unity3D to handle all the 2D things<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.codeandweb.com\/texturepacker\">Texture Packer<\/a> for packing sprites into a sprite atlas<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanbalance.net\/gale\/us\/\">GraphicsGale<\/a> for creating 2D pixel art<\/li>\n<li>The all famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bfxr.net\/\">bfxr<\/a> for sound effects (hopefully I will have time to create some)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If there is anyone planning to go with a similar setup or with pixel art in general, I can recommend some tutorials which helped me a lot:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rocket5studios.com\/tutorials\/make-a-2d-game-in-unity3d-using-only-free-tools-part-1\/\">Make A 2D Game in Unity3D Using Only Free Tools\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/gas13.ru\/v3\/tutorials\/sywtbapa_almighty_grass_tile.php\">So you want to be a pixel artist<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opengameart.org\/content\/les-forges-pixel-art-course\">Les Forges Pixel Art Course<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Good luck everyone!
