{"assets":[],"author_link":"author\/lapinou\/","author_name":"Lapinou","cat":"LD #24","categories":["LD #24"],"comments":[],"epoch":1346211240,"event":"LD24","likes":7,"metadata":{"p_key":"78532","p_author":"Lapinou","p_authorkey":"0","p_urlkey":"287542","p_title":"Little trick \u2013 sound effect","p_cat":"LD #24","p_event":"LD24","p_time":"1346211240","p_likes":"7","p_comments":"0","p_status":"WAYBACK","us_key":null,"us_name":null,"us_username":null,"event_start":"1345766400","event_key":"12","event_name":"LD24"},"source_url":"2012\/08\/29\/little-trick-sound-effect\/","text":"<p>It seems like the majority of people who played my entry find out that the atmosphere and the wind noise are fine.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I made it by making some random moves on Audacity, so if it can help some people in the future, I\u2019m happy to share this little trick <img alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_smile.gif\"\/> <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>-Open Audacity,<br\/>\n-<strong><span style=\"color: #339966\">Generate a noise<\/span><\/strong> (white)<br\/>\n-apply a <strong><span style=\"color: #339966\">WhaWha effect<\/span><\/strong> (you can choose your parameters, but it seems like \u201cWha Frequency Offset\u201d is better with more than 60%)<br\/>\n- apply <strong><span style=\"color: #339966\">Change Speed<\/span><\/strong> (I\u2019ve used something like -60%, and repeat it until I\u2019ve made something which convince me)<br\/>\n- Add a <strong><span style=\"color: #339966\">new audio track<\/span><\/strong> (ctrl + shift + n)<br\/>\n-<strong><span style=\"color: #339966\">Copy\/Past<\/span><\/strong> your noise on this new track, with a very little gap<br\/>\n- Put the first track on \u201cLeft Channel\u201d, the second on \u201cRight Channel\u201d<br\/>\n-Export it \u00a0;)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999\"><em>(Try to modify, appropriate this to make exactly what you want!
