Hello friends and friendettes, I\u2019d like to begin by saying I\u2019ve never actually done this before, and am (annoyingly) aware of my own proclivity to doubt myself when doing anything which has a deadline. This seems to actually make the problem worse for me D: All I\u2019m trying to say is, I\u2019ll attempt to make something (let alone something playable or visually pleasing) but don\u2019t expect much, if anything.<\/p>\n

I shall be using Java (version being 6 or 7, needless to say) and Paint.NET to create my disasterpiece, and possibly SFXR if I manage to get into sound. I will then probably either turn my creation into an applet, or package it up with Excelsior JET for boosted FPS and such. Why do games never tell you your FPS in the window\u2019s title bar, anyway? I\u2019m only 14 and have only been learning Java for a year, on and off (take into account GCSEs and other\u2026 Happenings), so be gentle with the result of this. Will probably end up using an engine from someone else, anyway.<\/p>\n
