Haxe is a Flash-like language that gets automatically translated into various other languages depending on the target\u00a0platform. NME is a lightweight game\/audio-visual engine built on top of it. There\u2019s a newer version of this stuff called OpenFL, but I\u2019m sticking with what I have\/know for the time being.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Stuff that I\u2019ll be using:<\/p>\n<p>Haxe\/NME<\/p>\n<p>FlashDevelop<\/p>\n<p>GIMP<\/p>\n<p>Audacity<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll also use a very basic set of classes that I wrote: sprite, circle collision, line collision, misc math helpers, simple menu.<\/p>","time":"August 22nd, 2013 1:51 am","title":"Haxe game coming your way","title_was_empty":false}
