Oh dear universe, that sounds like a horrid porn title! Oh well, I\u2019m sticking with it.<\/p>\n
So I\u2019m in on my first game jam ever. I started learning game\/software development in January of this year, but don\u2019t have all that much to directly show off. I have learned drastic amounts over the course of the last 4 months, after a 3 month break to handle several life transitions.<\/p>\n
The one thing I\u2019m hopeful for, is that I don\u2019t get over-ambitious and try to do something too complicated, lose motivation and then just give up. I\u2019ve had a couple of those projects recently, so I\u2019m actively focusing on trying to simplify.<\/p>\n
As for the tools I\u2019ll be using: Unity (C#), Paint.net\/GIMP\/Photoshop, Audacity, possibly Blender if I can get my brain around it, Visual Studio 2012, and probably something I\u2019ve forgotten exists that I use.<\/p>\n
As we\u2019re getting close now, I\u2019ve opted to clean up my workspace a bit and share it with all of you!<\/p>\n
I won\u2019t be live-streaming, but I will probably be blogging\/tweeting (blog<\/a>, twitter<\/a>) my progress and screenshots throughout the weekend.
