It’s been so cool to see all the progress everyone’s been making! It’s definitely a struggle to create something from nothing in such a short amount of time, but this Jam is the perfect motivation. It allows for unbridled creativity. There’s no time for second guessing or changing your mind. You’ve either gotta go for it with what you have or give up.

I was ready to quit last night for sure. I was having so many problems and felt like I was going to fail hard. I was really tired so decided to get to bed. Thankfully I woke up nice and early and felt like I’d go for it and try and continue working on my game. I was tempted to throw it all away and try a new idea but I think having the initial idea is all fun and games no matter what it is. It’s when we get into the hard grind of the work when it becomes apparent how hard it really is and the temptation to ‘start again’ shows up.

I’m happy with what I’ve created so far even thought there’s not much of a game to it. It’s more of a world you get to be part of and experience.
