{"assets":[],"author_link":"author\/zatyka\/","author_name":"zatyka","cat":"LD #27","categories":["LD #27"],"comments":[],"epoch":1377521820,"event":"LD27","likes":11,"metadata":{"p_key":"80087","p_author":"zatyka","p_authorkey":"0","p_urlkey":"289097","p_title":"The Ones You Love","p_cat":"LD #27","p_event":"LD27","p_time":"1377521820","p_likes":"11","p_comments":"0","p_status":"WAYBACK","us_key":null,"us_name":null,"us_username":null,"event_start":"1377216000","event_key":"18","event_name":"LD27"},"source_url":"2013\/08\/26\/the-ones-you-love\/","text":"<p>Another proverbial notch in my Ludum Dare belt.\u00a0 I love this event.\u00a0 I look forward to it for months.\u00a0 I love playing all the games that are created.\u00a0 The only time I despise Ludum Dare is the 48 hours between the theme announcement, and the compo ending.\u00a0 Well\u2026 I don\u2019t really hate Ludum Dare, I more so hate myself.\u00a0 During that time, I often think:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What was I thinking<\/li>\n<li>Why did I think I could do this<\/li>\n<li>This is the biggest piece of crap I\u2019ve ever created<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the end, after I submit my entry, and the site is running like molasses, all the negative thoughts go away.\u00a0 From that point, I\u2019m eager to try everyone\u2019s game, and start counting the days until the next compo begins.\u00a0 Anyway, that\u2019s enough blathering on.\u00a0 If I want to post my thoughts on this event, I\u2019ll make a port-mortem.
