It\u2019s Super Effective!","p_cat":"MiniLD #45","p_event":"LD27","p_time":"1380681960","p_likes":"6","p_comments":"0","p_status":"WAYBACK","us_key":null,"us_name":null,"us_username":null,"event_start":"1377216000","event_key":"18","event_name":"LD27"},"source_url":"2013\/10\/02\/mld45-puppy-uses-nibble-its-super-effective\/","text":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">This <strong>MLD45<\/strong> coincided with my girlfriend and I acquiring a <strong>freshly baked Puppy<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/data\/posts\/2013\/10\/5c1acdc836a19f09f15b905e76cd41c5.jpg\"><img alt=\"1236428_432644206841432_953052376_n\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-297676\" height=\"225\" src=\"\/data\/posts\/2013\/10\/2e692d58f52462126118317272068b82.jpg\" width=\"300\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">We\u2019ve been in a <strong>perpetual state of pee dodging, <\/strong>sock changing, fragmented sleep, and\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\"><strong>overdosing on cute<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"line-height: 19px\">Still <strong>eager to participate<\/strong>\u00a0but with\u00a0<\/span><\/span><strong>diminished<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"line-height: 19px\"><strong>\u00a0mental capacity<\/strong>, I tricked a friend into \u00a0\u2018<strong>just making a game<\/strong>\u2019 together. Bwoehahaha!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"line-height: 19px\">He occasionally sprites you see, but lacked a coder to get things out there. Each Ludum has been a great boost to everything I needed boosted, so figured he might enjoy it as well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">Out of this collaboration <strong>Sword, Stealth and Sausage<\/strong> was born, is a<strong> top down dungeon crawler\/puzzler<\/strong> with a focus on a class switching mechanic to solve puzzles and a disturbing <strong>overdose of sausages<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Looking at all the other entries MLD45 entries <strong>it didn\u2019t feel right submitting the game<\/strong>. It\u2019s not exactly a text based Pac-Man. Instead we\u2019ve decided to give it a <strong>proper polish<\/strong> and<strong> release it separately<\/strong>.
