I use Inkscape and it is awesome.. until you want to animate your drawings. I took a quick look at other animation software, but they either are not free, not available on linux or lack Inkscape\u2019s ergonomics.<\/p>\n<p>So I coded a <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/kLabz\/svg-anims\">small tool<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/haxe.org\/\">Haxe<\/a> to let me animate things easily in Inkscape: a preview of the current animation at the right framerate, updating itself instantly each time I save my svg file.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/kLabz\/svg-anims\"><img alt=\"Example usage\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-389293\" height=\"257\" src=\"\/data\/posts\/2014\/08\/eb99ad1876a10aea77139dbc6d7f16e5.png\" width=\"550\"\/><\/a><\/p>","time":"August 28th, 2014 4:09 pm","title":"Inkscape & Animations","title_was_empty":false}
