Then I\u2019ve been trying to leave a thoughtful comment based on my experience.<\/p>\n<p>I freely admit I\u2019m bad at twitchy and \u2018hard\u2019 games, but try to leave an honest comment. \u00a0My own game is probably\u00a0a reasonable mid to average (48h) quality\u00a0of game, based on my very personally biased view of course\u2026 however hard I try to be objective!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been swapping\u00a01st place on the coolness ladder with Mallot1 for a few days\u2026 Not trying to outdo, but just overtaking sometimes, then he\/she overtakes me back.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last night Mallot1 rated 500 games!!!<br\/>\nApproximately the same as we\u00a0had each managed to rate in 8 days (since the main competition closed last week). \u00a0I don\u2019t think I could even look and read the webpages for 500 games in the 10-12 hours elapsed when Mallot1 went from 495 (approx) to 1030.<\/p>\n<p>Is this reasonable ?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been\u00a0a bit stressed since\u2026 Have I been trying to hard to rate games ? Is it best to just carry on with development and stop looking at my peer group at work ?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been back and forth about whether to say something. \u00a0It really isn\u2019t that important to me to be first on coolness, I was mainly just enjoying making a list of things I need to get better at programming and design-wise, while playing and rating lots and lots of games. \u00a0I wasn\u2019t even expecting to feature on the cool list, but as I\u2019m currently out of work it seems that my free time has enabled this to happen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Should I have said something or not ?? \u00a0Am I taking it too seriously\u2026 and other self-doubt. \u00a0Hmmm\u2026.<br\/>\nWould appreciate your thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&lt; \/rant&gt;<\/p>","time":"September 2nd, 2014 4:53 am","title":"Coolness ??","title_was_empty":false}
