I haven’t been to the site in about 3 weeks, and when I left the website have a darker purple color. Today I noticed it have a dark blue color. I think personally that the website is getting darker. Please bring back the purples and the fun yellows that differentiated this site from the rest and made it very fun and appealing. If not doable, then I suggest another solution. Allow 2 visual versions of the site. 1 for the original with the purple background, yellow boxes, etc; and then have another one for this new, modern version of the site. That way all the users can view the site the way they like it. Right now the website just doesn’t shout ” Make games! This is a wonderful and friendly site!” With too many darker colors. By simply making the background a lighter color I believe that should remedy the darker look of the current website. That you for all of your work, and continue to make Ludum Dare even better
