{"assets":[],"author_link":"author\/cudabear\/","author_name":"cudabear","cat":"LD #30","categories":["LD #30"],"comments":[],"epoch":1407835500,"event":"LD30","likes":5,"metadata":{"p_key":"82266","p_author":"cudabear","p_authorkey":"0","p_urlkey":"292998","p_title":"Ludum Dare 30, let\u2019s do it!","p_cat":"LD #30","p_event":"LD30","p_time":"1407835500","p_likes":"5","p_comments":"0","p_status":"WAYBACK","us_key":null,"us_name":null,"us_username":null,"event_start":"1408665600","event_key":"24","event_name":"LD30"},"source_url":"2014\/08\/12\/ludum-dare-30-lets-do-it\/","text":"<p>Hello everyone,<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m in for Ludum Dare 30! \u00a0I\u2019ve got the weekend free and I\u2019m super pumped! \u00a0My technologies of choice will be as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Html 5 Canvas \/ Javascript using the awesome\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/phaser.io\/\">Phaser<\/a>\u00a0framework as always.<\/li>\n<li>The trusted\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/getgimp.com\/lp\/index.php?pk=6542&amp;c=Getgimp_US_Broad\">Gimp<\/a>\u00a0for art. \u00a0I tried\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pickleeditor.com\/\">Pickle<\/a> editor last time, and though it got the job done, I wasn\u2019t impressed with its features.<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019m going to try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brashmonkey.com\/spriter.htm\">Spriter<\/a> for animation. \u00a0It looks like it will help me create some awesome animations, far greater than I could draw by hand at least.<\/li>\n<li>Might try Pitzik4\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pitzik4.net\/program\/\">GoTile<\/a>\u00a0for tileset generation<\/li>\n<li>Going to try to make my own music this time around using Rxi\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/minild-51\/?action=preview&amp;uid=16007\">Blipseq<\/a>, but if that doesn\u2019t work out I\u2019ll use the incredibly Free\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.abundant-music.com\/\">Abundant-Music<\/a>\u00a0for random music generation.<\/li>\n<li>The equally incredibly free\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bfxr.net\/\">BFXR<\/a>\u00a0for random game sound generation<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sublimetext.com\/2\">Sublime Text 2<\/a>\u00a0for code editing. \u00a0Perfect lightweight code editor.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/\">GitHub<\/a>\u00a0for source control management<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cudascubby.com\">My own website<\/a>\u00a0to host the finished product<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/chronolapse\/\">Chronolapse<\/a>\u00a0for time lapse capture. \u00a0I really liked the finished time lapse that came from using this program last time, so I\u2019ll definitely be using it again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","time":"August 12th, 2014 9:25 am","title":"Ludum Dare 30, let\u2019s do it!","title_was_empty":false}
