I went\u00a0solo this time to actually see what the serious view of this jam is all about.<\/p>\n<p>Serious as my work area:<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter\" height=\"426\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/n5w3Nkp.jpg\" width=\"568\"\/><\/p>\n<p>After tasting the sweet glory of using a second screen for game development, I simply HAD to do it again, but since I\u2019m a cheap boy I just plugged my T.V. (hope it doesn\u2019t burn my eyes, though). Oh, and that fan, it isn\u2019t for me, it is to cool down my crappy PC (it didn\u2019t cool it down).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I wasn\u2019t able to catch up with the guys at La Cord\u00e9e doing Ludum Dare Paris, so I did a small poster as a homage to the good times during the last compo:<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter\" height=\"366\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/BvnuvamIUAEMHen.png:large\" width=\"650\"\/><\/p>\n<p>And thank you guys for signing it back! Hope you all did well this compo and ate lots of pizza! <img alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/simple-smile.png\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter\" height=\"528\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/BvqmFsOCUAA-snk.jpg:large\" width=\"704\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alright, now the game.<\/p>\n<p>I worked for the first time on the jam and HELL, it was horrible. Don\u2019t get me wrong, it was fun but not as much as working with some mates like in Ludum Dare Paris or my self-made jams with friends. Without mentioning that family slept over in the house, and well, I won\u2019t ignore my guests.<\/p>\n<p>But anyways, I worked on the game, and thank you all for finally choosing a theme I liked (though I don\u2019t think it has a lot of diversity possibilities) but I got overhyped for my idea which was probably not that original\/great (I just hope I was good enough to compensate it with nice gameplay).<\/p>\n<p>If you played my previous Ludum Dare games, Hell Hole and One Man Army, you may have noticed that I have this obsession with making cute, puffy characters doing explosions and lots of screen shakes. It\u2019s just a game about a futuristic guy fighting stone giants. I didn\u2019t put all I wanted to be in the game because time limitations, which was a story and background art. But I\u2019m pretty happy about how the gameplay turned out.
