sorry, but I think the new look of Ludum Dare is rather bad designed.

1. Posts change color when liked
The red often creates unwanted contrast to the posts content.
Keep in mind that how a color is perceived, depends on the colors around it.
That means in this case, that the color influences how screenshots are perceived.

2. Rounded edges
They conflict with the page scrolling flow.
Clear lines direct the view of the player. When there are rounded edges, the view gets distracted from the scrolling process.
You also cleary exaggerated the rounded edges for buttons and search bar, to still look good in this context.

3. Blue Sidebar
Why? The colors of Ludum Dare as Brand are orange and yellow.

4. Background
Either fully desaturate the color tone you use for the background or use white.
You want to have a very neutral interface, so that it works well along all kind of content from the thousands of Ludum Dare users.
