It\u2019s that magical time of the year again where we gather from around the world to make videogames in an unreasonably short amount of time.<\/p>\n<p>As you may already know, this time around there are <em>no ratings<\/em>, which means,<strong> you\u2019re\u00a0going to have to rely entirely on feedback and criticism to know how you did<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So, are\u00a0user comments the only way to receive\u00a0feedback for your game? <strong>NOPE<\/strong>! In fact, there is one long-forgotten feature that has existed on this site since the dawn of time itself \u2013\u00a0<strong>Trophies!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trophies are awarded from one user to another and appear on your profile page for everyone to see.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"ld trophies\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-569436\" height=\"206\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ld-trophies.png\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ld-trophies-300x95.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ld-trophies-550x174.png 550w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ld-trophies.png 650w\" width=\"650\"\/><\/p>\n<p>This Ludum Dare, let\u2019s make\u00a0an extra effort to give every game the attention and feedback it deserves. Although ratings are gone this time, we can still be an active, constructive community.
