Wednesday night (i.e. 48 hours before the start of Ludum Dare) we will begin the Final Round Theme Voting. That will decide the Theme for Ludum Dare 38, our 15th Anniversary Event.

Replies (threaded comments) is running a little behind, so I disabled that for now. The :heart: doesn't work yet either, but that's also coming.

Another thing I've been trying to get right, the countdown clock in the sidebar. It tries to tell you the start of the event in your local timezone. I know we're good in the US and Canada, but for those of you in Europe and the the rest of the world, it might not be working as you'd expect. Ludum Dare 38 starts on Saturday April 22nd at 01:00 UTC (GMT). Be aware of daylight savings time (most of us are in daylight savings time now).

I need to give a HUGE shout-out to Zak (@zwrawr) and Jeremy (@jezzamon). They've been helping me find bugs, fix things, test out features, adapt the rules, and write some new pages leading up to the event. These two have been an amazing help, and I owe them a lot of thanks.

I also need to give a big thanks to @voxel, @the31, and @kdrnic for helping me with the Theme list. We'll eventually be switching to something a little more automated, but in the mean time the list has a human touch.

We'll be rolling out Event Signups soon. From there you'll be able to join the event, begin editing your game page, and most importantly: begin making blog posts. Unfortunately you wont be able to upload images right away, but that will be coming soon after.
