This is my first LD, and from what I read so far, people are saying that compo submissions are judged more fairly and more often than jam submissions.

I'm going solo - if my main aim is to get feedback, should I aim for compo?

I guess the 'completely from scratch' idea indeed puts everyone in the same starting position.
