Day 1 Recap
I did pretty well on my first day of Ludum Dare ever. Since I work and am doing this solo, my time is pretty much limited to the weekend. I've managed to get the core mechanics done and a basic Level 1 up and running. Still need to do the UI and then make a bunch of levels, which I hope to get done today (Sunday).
The Small World concept is that you are in a computer and must blast bits to find the exit of each level. The feeling is somewhat claustrophobic and confined. I spent an inordinate amount of time tracking down a pesky bug on yesterday and I'm feeling the pressure to be super productive today. I'm in a good spot, with a decent game developing, and should be able to get it close to "done" tonight. We shall see! :)
