Hi guys,

we, a team of students, are currently working on our first jam project ever and our first Ludum Dare submission. So we hope we didn't break good jam etiquette too much by only publishing a blog post about our game now, even though we started our development on Saturday.

We are pleased to introduce Inventor's Trial

a game about the young inventor "Lumy" who has to complete a "coming of age trial" to be a full member of the inventor's society.

You are playing "Lumy", the young inventor and help him overcome his task - escape the planet before it breaks apart.

Gather resources, craft your way up the progression tree until you have all the parts to build your rocket and escape the planet, while simultaneously defend yourself against attacking bots.

The game is still in heavy development as we rapidly approach the deadline. We still have to do all the sounds and some of the gameplay, but we are on track :thumbsup:.

We hope to show you more of our game in the very near future.
