Post Jam Idea
So our game This Small world
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/this-small-world
was submitted during the jam submission hour. The game is very bare but I'm quite pleased with how much I was able to implement in the last few hours. I thought I'd just post some info about what I'd like to do post jam.

Despite a little lack of clarity between the two man team I'd say that originally the game was designed to be a bit of a Wetrix style game where shaped groups of tiles would fall from the sky allowing you to shape and expand the world. Unfortunately the 2D top down style doesn't quite work when it comes to tile placement so if I were to continue working on the game I think a change to full 3D, either on a sphere or an isometric view. This would also allow the tiles to fall onto the world and not just slowly fade in. I'd also like to implement a more intuitive scoring system where the more rivers you create, the larger your villages and their proximity to both herds and water increase your score, possibly with an overlay that shows how well your tile layout improves the score.
I guess we'll see how well the game does in the judging to determine whether it's worth developing further.
Thanks for reading :)
