Sling Ship
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has provided Feedback! Being my first Ludum Dare, I wasn't sure what to expect, but really enjoyed the experience of focusing on a project within 48 hours and 'completing' it.
I've loved the post-weekend experience too of playing other people's games, giving feedback, getting feedback, and rating; There's a certain comradery and respect that exists as a result of us all going through the same experience.
It's also interesting that your game becomes a snapshot in time, and a reflection of those 48-72 hours, even though I imagine many of us (myself included) are working at incorporating all the feedback we're being given. So many comments were so simple, or obvious, but just overlooked on my part when developing. Or, I misjudged my audience at times (made the game way too hard). Regardless, knowing other's have played your game is a great reward within itself. I'll certainly be back for Ludum Dare 39.
Cheers!
