I know that these are allowed in the Jam (which these games are in), but the games I've seen so far also have opted into the Audio category for ratings. I thought that for the Audio category in the Jam, entries that use any sort of third party sound effects should opt out of the Audio category.\n\nHowever, what about when the music appears to be made within the jam time, but the sfx are all or partly stock and not made\/recorded within the jam time? I only ask since I'm not sure if the participants are aware of opting out of Audio and wanted to let them know. Or is this allowed or generally accepted? I understand if all the music\/sfx were third party, but I'm not sure about the partial cases.
