Last stretch and progress

As a first darer, I didn't really know what to expect. I thought LD39 was in August sometimes, so even the date was unexpected. I am glad I caught it though!

It's the first time I actually feel like I have a game, or at least the beginning of one.

What does it mean for today? Well this morning I woke up and built something on the rush to be able to position my unity object on a virtual grid. This will help me for what will happen for the rest of the day: level creation.

I will publish my game on Ludum Dare tonight. No excuses.

I don't think I will add new mechanics to the game during the day. I will only create levels and build a stats screen for the end screen. Maybe a "welcome" screen if time permits, but it is not a priority.

I got to say, seeing all the beautiful games on the home page is inspiring. Some of you are really good, and I love seeing the games. Since I am crunched on time I didn't get the chance to play any of the games, but I will either tonight or tomorrow for sure. I will rate games as well. You guys and gals all deserve love!

Now a question for veteran darers

Since I am building my game in Unity, should I put my game as a HTML5 game on itch.io and put the downloadable files for Windows as well, or should I just skip HTML5 (I tested it yesterday and one of the sound wasn't behaving like the desktop version) and only put the downloadable files?

Thanks for reading, and good luck on your last day!
